Si on
sablier.

In either long or short-wave ultraviolet,
the crystal looks as if it was divided along its diagonals into
four triangles out of which two are fluorescent. When looking
at the crystal by the side, these triangles have a pyramidal
shape, each with an apex at the crystal center. It is a remarkable
fluorescence that has the shape of an hourglass.
