La fluoborite donne une fluorescence blanc crème avec un ton jaunâtre dessous. La couleur bleue provient d'une petite quantité de lumière visible passant à travers le filtre UV. Axel's comment: Fluoborite fluoresces cream-white with a yellow undertone under SW UV. The blue color of the matrix is no fluorescence but rather some stray blue light that managed to pass the UV-transparent filter.
