Ce type de calcite n'est pas commun à la carrière de St Cyrille. La couleur de la calcite brune ainsi que sa fluorescence pourraient être dues à la présence d'hydrocarbures naturels. La phosphorescence est forte et jaune blanchâtre.

This type of calcite is not common at the St Cyrille quarry. The color of the brown calcite as well as its fluorescence could be cause by the presence of natural hydrocarbons. The phosphorescence is strong and whitish yellow.
